Conlin Corporation also makes conventional robot covers out of many different types of materials.

We have a laminated cover material designed to stop paint overspray from soaking through to the equipment we're covering. A sheet of cloth is flame-laminated to a thin sheet of elastic plastic. This composite material stretches when the robot moves, yet provides a barrier to protect the robot from overspray.  This material is referred to as "PFP" or "Urelon".

An alternative to Urelon for light overspray conditions is a tube knit material. We use this to design covers that don't see a thick cloud of overspray. We call these covers "Robot Tubes". The tube stretches like a nylon stocking, yet keeps overspray off the robot.

The beauty of a Robot Tube is its simplicity. We customize them to fit your robots, based on 3 dimensions you provide. We need to know the circumference where you want the cover to begin, (ie. the base of the robot), the distance from that point to the point you want the Robot Tube to end, and the circumference at the end, (ie. the wrist or gun head).

We take tube knit material and cut it to length in our cleanroom, sew elastic onto both ends with the circumference you've specified, and send it to you. You can stretch it on over your robot and test its performance. If you need modifications such as openings for hoses, we can adjust the design.

Once we have your design perfected, we can make you Robot Tubes to fit your robots with no minimum order and a 2 week lead time at competitive prices.

We also make custom covers for all types of machinery. Drop us an email and we'll design covers for your needs.
